Vegan Caribbean Food and Catering for Cardiff.

Cardiff has one of the best food scenes in Wales, and it is a city that knows the difference between a chain and the real thing. Rooted Soul cooks vegan Caribbean and Jamaican food from a family kitchen just up the road in Newport, and we bring it to Cardiff in two ways.

For meal prep and takeaway, we deliver to the eastern side of the city in CF3, CF23 and CF24, including Llanrumney, Rumney, St Mellons, Pentwyn, Llanedeyrn, Cyncoed, Roath, Splott and Adamsdown. Order by 8pm the evening before and we cook everything fresh.

For events, we cater across the whole of Cardiff, from Penarth to Pontprennau. Weddings, birthdays, christenings, graduation parties, office lunches and community days, with a plant-based Caribbean menu from £18 per person that pleases vegans and meat eaters alike.

Catering menus are built around the dishes people love: jerk lentils, coconut lentil curry, rasta pasta, macaroni no cheese, rice and peas, festival, dumplings, patties, coleslaw, potato salad and spinach rice, with Jamaican fruit cake and spice bun for afterwards. Send us your date, venue and guest numbers and we will put together a quote.

For delivery, the Cardiff CF3, CF23 and CF24 postcodes are covered on our normal delivery days: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm, Friday 10am to 1pm and Sunday 4pm to 8pm. Same-day delivery may be possible, so ask.
